I am not sure of this but it may be the reason the material was posted to QI instead of Unrestricted. If it is set to QI, I believe the stock may go into QI even if there is no inspection type set in the QM view of the material master. Check the ‘purchase order – item – delivery tab’ and see if the stock type to which the delivery is posted is set to quality inspection.
